Small Repo for Moblin
December 17th, 2009
I've created a small repo for Moblin. It was indeed but now so few packages which I have built for myself and others. Since then to keep track of me was always difficult xD
Find it at the moment are:
- GStreamer (gstreamer, gestreamer-base, gst-plugins-good/bad/ugly, gst-ffmpeg)
- VLC Player
- Wine
- Dosbox
- ScummVM
- Midnight Commander
- Gtkpod could (not me unfortunately with iPod Touch taste)
Just as it is now on the things?
Run in a terminal window "sudo gedit / etc / yum.repos.d / matthi.repo" and insert the following:
[matthi]
name=Matthi's Repo $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=http://www.ceti-computer-service.de/moblin2
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0
Then you can either manage about "applications" to install in the terminal or via yum the packages you want.
GStreamer plugins for example: sudo yum install gst-plugins-bad gst-plugins-ugly gst-ffmpeg

Would it be possible to include in your Geeqei repo? That's really fast image browser that makes my netbook useful even for viewing RAW images.

@ Makke: With Blender, you can edit videos? Always thought that would be 3d.
In any case, avidemux is now in the repo, if you install avidemux automagically you get the QT4 version. For GTK, you must have the avidemux-gtk package installed, but since the menu is unreadable to me: (Blender (ie for the 3-D) is running, though is still not in the repos. Sliding it in the course of the day after.
